DeleteQuestion 2
ReplyDeleteWriting seemed to be an outlet for Kien's frustration and aggression. It was something he could do to ease his mind, even though he relived painful memories through it. It is like having a friend to express yourself to, free of judgment.
Great Response. It was exactly the answer I was looking for !!
Delete2. Why do you believe writing seemed to make Kien feel better ?
ReplyDeleteWriting was Kien's way of expressing his feelings. Kien was so plagued by the tragedies of war that he could not deal with the pain. Writing was also Kien's way of telling his story from experiences. I also believe writing was a way for Kien to relieve some of the feelings he held on to for so long. Personally, writing helps me get many major thoughts off of my mind. In conclusion, Kien's way of making himself feel better by writing helped him in a number of ways
Strong points made. You made me view the question in a totally different perspective.
